Plone: Add Contact Link to Global Navigation
If you would like to display Plone's built-in contact form in a more prominent position, here is how to add it to the global navigation bar:
- in the site root, create a folder called contact
- goto http://<yoursite>/contact/manage_propertiesForm
- on this form, add a new property called layout with the value contact-info
Assuming that your navigation is set up to automatically generate tabs, the contact form will now appear in the global navigation. If not, check your settings at Site Setup → Navigation Settings. When selected, the tab will be marked as current in the navigation bar, just like an ordinary content page.
Note, that the manage_propertiesForm is not available via the Zope Management Interface.
